The everyday tape. Breathable, hypoallergenic and conformable enough to hold on knuckles and faces. Tears cleanly by hand in both directions.

Cotton fabric tape
Durable with a little give. Secures bulky dressings, splints, catheters and IV lines where a paper tape would lift.

The strong one. For devices and dressings that have to stay put for long periods, such as drains, tubes and heavy dressings. Still hand-tearable.

Perforated polyethylene film
Transparent tape
See-through and water-resistant, so the site stays visible without lifting the tape. Tears by hand along the perforations.

Elastic non-woven, acrylic adhesive
Fixation tape, acrylic
Stretches with the body and cuts to fit. The wide sizes are retention tape rather than strapping — they hold dressings, cannulas and ostomy appliances across large areas. The acrylic adhesive is the lower-cost of the two the factory offers.
